Bill Quain, Ph.D.
Welcome to the “Debit & Credit Cards 101” fund-raising
page. We want to help you raise money, and create
a better image for your organization – all at the
same time.
We created “Debit & Credit Cards 101 to help
people. The average adult has $8,000 in credit
card debt, and the average college senior has over $3,000. 70%
of all Americans do not pay off their monthly balances
in full.
Debt, especially credit card debt, has reached tragic
proportions.
On the other hand, we all need our cards! They
are useful tools. Credit cards are convenient,
practical and certainly here to stay. We need to
learn to use them wisely, and to put them to work for
us.
As a fund-raising organization, you can help solve America’s
biggest financial problem by getting “Debit & Credit
Cards 101” into the hands of the people who need
it most. Your organization can be confident that
you are making money the old fashioned way – by
giving people something they really need!
So many fund-raisers sell things people don’t
really want, but they buy anyway. How many magazine
subscriptions have you purchased over the years? Or
wrapping paper, or candy?
“Debit & Credit Cards 101 is different. It
is useful, and rewarding, and sophisticated. It
actually HELPS people.

Frequently Asked Questions
How Much Can You Make?
It depends on the size of your organization, and the
number of copies you sell. It is not unusual for
a relatively small organization to make $1,000 in two
weeks. Of course, if you really work at it, your
group can make much more.
Why is the Debit & Credit Card program different
than other fund-raisers?
With Debit & Credit Cards 101, you are actually
solving a problem for people. You are helping them
to stay out of debt! Other fund-raisers sell wrapping
paper, candy, etc. You sell financial security.
Who are the most likely customers?
Parents and Grandparents are best, with other relatives
a close second. Remember, this is a “Gift” item. Most
people will buy it for someone they care for!
Who can use this program?
Debit & Credit Cards 101 is designed for high school
and college age kids. However, most adults need
this information as well. When we first started
selling this product, after Bill Quain’s talks,
the adults ere buying it, then sending us e-mails saying “Wow,
I didn’t know this stuff either. I am learning
it with my kids”.
What is the best way to sell it?
Use the downloadable letters and flyers provided on
the site. A letter from your organization, with
your logo on it, and the words “Important financial
information” printed on the envelope are a great
way to get inquiries.
How can I use the website to help me sell?
Creditcardlessons.com has everything you need to sell
the program. We even have demonstrations of the
book, DVD, and the CD. Your customers can even
order online!
When will we get our downloadable promotional materials?
As soon as your organization has been approved, you
will get access to the promotional materials.
What kind of promotional materials can I download?
You will have access to the following: flyers, posters,
letters, and order forms. You will also receive
a checklist and timetable to help you organize your fund-raiser.
How can we get money if our customers order online?
Every organization using the Debit & Credit Cards
101 fund-raiser will received a personalized “promotion
code”. Just ask your customers to type in
the promotion code when ordering and we automatically
credit your account. We even furnish you with a
full report at the end of the fund-raiser, detailing
the people who bought the product under your code.
How do we get started?
Send us an e-mail and we will contact
you ASAP.
How does it work if we take checks or cash?
It is easy! Just download the order form and use
it whenever someone orders the program. You send
us a check for the super-discounted amount, and you keep
the rest. For example, suppose your organization
(ABC GROUP) has a super discount price of $19.95 per
unit. You are retailing the product for $39.95. This
is a net fund-raising profit of $20 per unit. Ask
you customers to make out their checks to ABC Group for
$39.95, and deposit them in your account. You will
collect a total of $1,997.50. Send us a check for
$997.fo (plus a small amount for shipping) and you keep
$1,000.
Who can use Debit & Credit Cards 101 for a
fund-raiser?
Currently, we have schools, school organizations (such
as Future Business Leaders of America) and church groups
using the program. However, we will work with most
legitimate non-profit organizations. Send us an e-mail.
